Abstract

Through satellite carrying, the space environment is used to mutate Spirulina platensis. From the mutagenized materials, a new high-quality and high-yielding strain pnk-2 suitable for large-scale production was selected through single plant culture and subculture. Compared with the starting strain st-6, the number of helices of pnk-2 is 12 to 18; the average length of the algae is 764.31 ¦Ìm, an increase of 166.52%; the average length of the helical pitch is 52.98 ¦Ìm, an increase of 5.88%; the average length of the helical width 18.75¦Ìm, an increase of 8.19%; the average length of algal filament width is 6.02¦Ìm, an increase of 12.31%. Outdoor mass production productivity increased by more than 20%. The protein content of algal flour is 69.57%, an increase of 8.31%; the chlorophyll content is 1.01%, an increase of 8.60%; the ¦Â-carotene content is 0.16%, an increase of 6.67%; the phycocyanin content is 14.70%, an increase of 6.68%; ¦Ã-flax The acid content is 0.63%, a decrease of 3.08%. It shows that pnk-2 is a high-quality and high-yielding Spirulina platensis strain.
