Abstract

In order to understand the effect of enhanced UVB radiation on protein in wheat leaves, two-dimensional electrophoresis technology was used to analyze the changes in protein in wheat leaves after enhanced UVB radiation treatment. The results showed that after 6 days of enhanced UVB radiation treatment of wheat seedlings, the total protein content of leaves was significantly different from the control (P<0.01). After two-dimensional electrophoresis analysis, compared with the control, there were 21 points with a difference of more than 2 times between the UVB radiation enhanced treatment and the control. Among them, there are 6 up-regulated protein spots, 12 down-regulated protein spots, and 3 new protein spots. This shows that enhanced UVB radiation affects both the total amount of protein and its expression.   For further details regarding this article and its research, please do not hesitate to contact our team for assistance.
