Abstract
HMG protein is a type of acid-soluble non-histone protein. Although this type of protein is very abundant in chromatin, its biological function is still unclear. This article studies the relationship between HMG protein (1+2) and ¦Â-CAT. A preliminary analysis was conducted on the interaction mode of plasmid DNA. The experimental results showed that this type of protein can promote the unwinding of ¦Â-CAT plasmid DNA. In addition, the formation of DNA loop structures can also be observed in local parts of plasmid DNA.
