Abstract

In order to find a simple way to clone homologous genes, taking the homologous cloning of wheat ferritin gene as an example, the iron-binding protein gene sequence of maize was used to compare with the wheat EST library, and electronic extension was performed online and the start code was used. The codon was used as the starting point and the stop codon was used as the end point to design specific primers for gene cloning. After sequencing and Blast comparison of the amplified fragments of primer Ol and Fcds, it was confirmed that this experiment had successfully cloned iron from the genome and cDNA of wheat.
