Abstract

Optimize the step-by-step decolorization process of soybean peptides treated with activated carbon and AB-8 resin. Using the decolorization rate and peptide loss rate as indicators, the effects of activated carbon dosage, decolorization time, decolorization temperature, and decolorization pH value on the decolorization of soybean peptide liquid were investigated, and optimized through orthogonal experiments. The results show that the optimal conditions for activated carbon decolorization are activated carbon dosage 2.0% (m/m), decolorization time 50 minutes, decolorization temperature 55¡ãC, and pH 8.0. At this time, the decolorization rate of soybean peptide liquid reaches 57.13%, and the peptide loss rate is 11.37%. The soybean peptide liquid decolorized by activated carbon was decolorized again with AB-8 resin (0.5g/mL). After 9 hours of decolorization, the decolorization rate was 57.99% and the peptide loss rate was 16.19%. After two-step decolorization, the total decolorization rate of soybean peptide liquid reached 81.97%, and the total peptide loss rate was 26.74%.
