Abstract

A comparative analysis of the storage proteins of wild soybeans and cultivated soybeans in the Yellow River Delta was conducted. Different solvent systems were used to extract storage proteins from the seeds of wild soybeans and cultivated soybeans Ludou No. 1, Ludou 10, Hedou 12 and Zhonghuang 20 using high-speed centrifugation. Spectrophotometry was used to compare storage protein content, and polyacrylamide electrophoresis was used to analyze storage protein band differences. The results showed that the total storage protein content of wild soybean seeds was slightly lower than that of cultivated soybean seeds; the gliadin and water-soluble proteins in cultivated soybean seeds were significantly higher than those in wild soybeans; the salt-soluble protein content in wild soybean seeds was higher than that of the other four cultivated soybean species. The PAGE bands show that whether it is water-soluble protein or salt-soluble protein, at high molecular weight, wild soybeans have two protein bands that are different from cultivated soybeans, indicating that there are certain differences in storage protein levels between wild soybeans and common cultivated soybeans in Shandong. .
