Abstract

Abstract Objective To explore the relationship between glycated albumin (GA) and its mean value and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in diabetic patients for two consecutive months. Methods: 100 diabetic patients who were followed up in the Endocrinology Clinic of Peking Union Medical College Hospital from April 2015 to January 2016 were retrospectively selected. GA was measured every 4 weeks for 2 consecutive months, and HbA1c was measured at the same time as the second GA measurement. GA was measured by enzymatic method, and HbA1c was measured by ion exchange high-pressure liquid chromatography. Analyze the relationship between GA and its mean value for two consecutive months and HbA1c. Results A total of 85 research subjects were included. What is the linear regression equation of GA mean (j) and HbA1c (y) for two consecutive months? =3.187+0.218j (corrected R2=0.520, P=0.000), which is close to the regression effect of the linear regression equation of GA values and HbA1c for two consecutive months (corrected R2=0.514, P=0.000), and both are better than single GA and The regression effect of the HbA1c linear regression equation measured at the same time (adjusted R2=0.392, P=0.000) was significant. Conclusion The correlation between GA measurement and its mean value for two consecutive months and HbA1c is better than that of a single GA, and it can better predict HbA1c levels.
