Abstract

The interaction between cell membrane proteins and cytoplasmic skeleton proteins plays an important role in maintaining normal cell morphology, cell adhesion and signal transduction. The protein 4.1 superfamily containing the 4.1 JEF domain and the MAGUK protein family containing the PDZ domain can bind to the intracellular regions and cytoplasmic proteins of a variety of membrane proteins, establishing connections between membrane proteins and cytoplasmic proteins. It plays an important role in maintaining the normal structure and function of cells and cell-cell connections.
