Abstract
In order to provide reference for wheat quality breeding, optical and electron microscopy techniques were used to systematically observe the accumulation of storage proteins and the formation of protein bodies during the endosperm development of the wheat variety Yangmai No. 12. The results showed that starch endosperm cells began to appear storage 8 days after flowering. Protein particles. After storage proteins are synthesized in the rough endoplasmic reticulum, some pass through the Golgi apparatus to form dense vesicles, and some accumulate directly in the cavity of the rough endoplasmic reticulum and break away from the endoplasmic reticulum to form protein bodies; dense vesicles and protein bodies enter protein storage Vacuole (PSV). The early protein bodies are small and globular; as the endosperm develops, the protein bodies can fuse with each other and expand in size. The later protein bodies fuse with each other to form a protein matrix, and a single protein body no longer exists; near the maturity stage Endosperm and endosperm cells are enriched by storage material starch granules and protein matrix. The protein matrix is distributed in the gaps between starch granules. The test results show that there are two pathways for the transport of storage proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to PSV: Golgi-dependent pathway and the endoplasmic reticulum-derived proteosome pathway.
