Abstract
Through G-75 gel chromatography combined with electrophoresis analysis, the protein molecular distribution of wolfberry and mustard under different V concentration stresses was studied. After gel chromatography, two UV absorption peaks appeared. The first peak was mainly concentrated in tubes No. 8 to 15, and the second peak was concentrated in tubes No. 25 to 33. Electrophoresis analysis of the first UV absorption peak showed that the molecular distribution of plant proteins changed under V stress: when the V concentration was 10 mg¡¤L-1, the roots of wolfberry produced proteins with a molecular weight of 58.6 KD, and the stems produced proteins with molecular weights respectively. There are two proteins of 64.5 and 46.9KD; when the V concentration increases to 20 mg¡¤L-1, the leaves produce a protein with a molecular weight of 20 KD. As the V stress concentration increased, the two protein bands with molecular weights of 33.9 KD and 36KD in mustard gradually became lighter, while the 27.3 KD protein band gradually deepened. The V content in the first elution peak protein of wolfberry seedlings increased with the increase of V stress concentration, while the V content in mustard leaves decreased when V¡Ý10 mg¡¤L-1. This is related to the ability of different plant proteins to bind V. Because the protein of wolfberry seedlings has a strong ability to bind V and produces more phytochelatins, it has a strong tolerance to V.
