Abstract To evaluate the sobering activity of corn oligopeptides and curcumin on drunken mice when used alone or in combination, and to explore their mechanism of action. Clean-grade male KM mice were randomly divided into 4 groups, namely the model control group and low and medium levels. , high-dose group. Each dose group was administrated with the corresponding test substance, the corn oligopeptide model control group was administrated with the same amount of double-distilled water, and the curcumin model control group was administrated with double-distilled water containing 5.6% ethanol. After 0.5h, The two groups were gavaged with white wine (56¡ã). Behavioral indicators (disappearance time of righting reflex, duration of drunkenness, and clinging time) were measured immediately after the gavage. After 30 minutes, the concentrations of ethanol and acetaldehyde in the blood were measured, and the liver tissue was measured. Alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH), aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH), cytochrome P450 (CYP450), catalase (CAT), xanthine oxidase (XOD) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities. Compared with the model control group, corn oligopeptides can prolong the climbing time and righting reflex disappearance time of mice, shorten the time of drunkenness, and reduce the levels of ethanol and acetaldehyde in the blood. High-dose curcumin can significantly improve the behavior of mice after being drunk. Chemical indicators can reduce the concentration of ethanol and acetaldehyde in the blood to a certain extent. Both corn oligopeptides and curcumin can enhance the ADH and ALDH activities in mouse liver tissue, increase the contents of CYP450, CAT and SOD, and reduce the XOD activity. Corn oligopeptides When combined with curcumin, the activity against drunken mice was stronger than curcumin alone, but there was no significant difference from the group using corn oligopeptide alone. Under this experimental condition, corn oligopeptides and high-dose curcumin had an effect on drunken mice. Rats have obvious sobering activity
