Abstract
Objective: To study the protective effect of Spirulina compound on the liver, cardiac muscle, and skeletal muscle of mice subjected to incremental heavy-load exercise and the relationship between the expression of hsp70. Methods: Optical microscope and electron microscope were used to observe the morphological effects of increasing heavy load exercise and increasing heavy load exercise + Spirulina compound on the myocardium, skeletal muscle and liver tissue of mice respectively. Immunohistochemistry (SP method) was used to study the effects of moderate exercise, increasing heavy load exercise, moderate exercise + spirulina compound and increasing heavy load exercise + spirulina compound on the expression of hsp70 protein in mouse cardiomyocytes, skeletal muscle cells and liver cells. Results: Under a light microscope, varying degrees of edema, degeneration and necrosis occurred in the cardiac muscle, skeletal muscle and liver cells of the mice in the incremental heavy-load exercise group. The expression of hsp70 in cardiomyocytes, skeletal muscle cells and liver cells of mice in each exercise group was significantly higher than that in the normal group (p<0.01). The expression of hsp70 in cardiomyocytes, skeletal muscle cells and liver cells of mice in the moderate exercise + spirulina compound group was all higher.
